Bella Bowman was a bright, beautiful and steadfast little girl who sadly died in 2011 at age 8 after battling cancer. Unlikely among the many who suffer such loss, her parents Trey & Kim decided to commit their lives to serving other families battling similar diagnosis in their respective stories. It is no secret that the inspiration for starting the "Bella Bowman Foundation" is largely derived from the brilliant, strong, and beautiful example their sweet Bella set for them in her days battling cancer.
Her legacy lives on as her parents love families through practical comfort care, researching a cure for radiation necrosis, and educating healthcare professionals how to best serve families with such devastating news. Bella's example of courage, belief, faith and strength grow stronger each passing year as volunteers and business leaders alike continue to give of their time and resources to love these kids and families well.
This short film we had the privilege of producing is a small thank you to our community and ultimately to Bella for giving her parents, and thus us all, a legacy worth passing on. Thank you Bella...
